Just a quick introduction: I began teaching in 1996. I have had the pleasure of teaching here at Platte County High School since 2013. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Zoology from Iowa State University and Masters in the Art of Teaching from the University of Louisville. I have taught a range of subjects to include Physical Science, Earth Science, Chemistry, Anatomy, Biology, Pre AP Biology, and AP Biology.
I am also the Garden Club Sponsor. This club is for any student interested in helping with our butterfly and produce garden, help us with green house planting for spring. There are opportunities to work with our master gardeners during the winter months in the greenhouse where we plant new spring flowers and learn about hydroponic gardening. If you think your student may be interested in joining this club, have them look information outside my door room 2002 about this years meetings. Dates and information will be posted. I would love to see them!
